For us this generation, the flight was used to things, taking an airplane flight around the world, is a common thing for our life, but the airship is different, it still retains charming part and also takes people throwback to the (19th century) it was a glorious generation. And when the airship shows out front of the human, and find the roots of the human dream. Hence, when people talking about the airship always think of a dream. Back then, men and women, both old and young, all desire to experience this huge flying machine in the sky. The original form and surface were not only practical, it was a fantasy, I wanted to root my concept in the known architecture.
So this smooth line on the clock represents the strong backbone also tell the time and see the mechanical movement. Through switch the bow and the stern, you can set the time and do the hand-winding. The escapement, in this position, symbolizes the captain in the control room, so when you provide the bow, it’s like your starting your adventure and continue your big dream.
Since first stepping into the design world, I have set a goal that my design in any format can be exhibited in museum. I also want to covey my ideal through the work of art. The outlook of the watch is just like a tiny museum: sixty pillars near the surface, which combines the meaning of time and has a circular concept that one loop is one minute. Every component in the watch symbolizes a direct thing in architecture: the stainless steel ring is the wall, the meter scale marker is the floor, the crown is the doorknob. The wall, which is the hands of the watch, is the space made by the layers of different-sized curved. You can imagine people walking and enjoying in the gallery, and the viewers embraced by the space, and feel the incredible sense of artistic. The architecture is combination of time and space. So is the universe.

Cut is inspired by the connection between the soil and the flowers, by the visual similarity of naturally occurring patterns between the two: the veins of the marble stone and the roots and stems of plants. With a simple cut on the stone, and a simple cut of the flower, the two merge to showcase that not always do we need to use a vessel, container or a vase with water to display the beauty of the plant. Without water, the cut flower placed in the cut marble, is allowed to dry out naturally showing genuine and honest beauty of both elements, even in its decay.

KOPUS x Abrood
Zagros is a collaboration between Kopus and the royal Iranian carpet manufacturer Abrood, making us the third successor brand of Hermes and Versace in collaborating with them. Persian carpet technology has 2500 years of history; from generation to generation the art of manufacturing Persian carpets became one of the world’s top technologies. Zagros is produced in the Qom area, famous for making silk carpets, extracting all the materials from natural plants and ores. The fine weaving process takes one year to complete. As a result of natural dyeing, the glamorous color is never diminished after a century. In addition, silk material compared to wool cloth has a rare and delicate luster. The silk carpets with the highest quality are often hung on the wall or are collected as works of art.
The pattern in the center of the carpet represents the sun and the asteroids’ traction in the universe, symbolizing a certain force drawing vitality, enthusiasm, and all things in the world together. The peripheral circles’ pattern represents guards, as if they were shielding you when standing on the center of the carpet. All that is wonderful is surrounded by the boundaries, such as your heart, home, the world. This abstract concept was implemented into a totem and recorded on the carpet above, which is also a fascination often seen in Persian carpets. It is worth mentioning that the specification of this carpet and the interior dyed from turquoise to blue-green is relatively rare. Zagros was made with meticulous attention to details. Good maintenance will preserve it between two to three hundred years. This expresses Kopus’ constant spirit to pursue perfection.
